Robert De Niro Shares Adorable Photo with His 10-Month-Old Daughter
Robert De Niro, the iconic actor celebrated for his performances in classics like “Goodfellas,” recently delighted fans by sharing a touching photo of himself with his 10-month-old daughter, Gia. The rare snapshot captured a tender moment as De Niro cradled Gia on his lap, gently resting his cheek against her head.
Gia looked utterly adorable in her charming onesie adorned with musical squirrels, her joyful smile melting hearts effortlessly. De Niro couldn’t contain his adoration for his little bundle of joy. “She’s such a cute baby,” he expressed warmly in an interview with People. “So sweet.”
At 80 years young, De Niro chuckled about the unique dynamics within his family, particularly with the arrival of his seventh child at such a late stage in his life. “She amuses the youngsters to no end. Even the grandchildren,” he shared. “She’s their aunt, and they’re on the brink of their teenage years!”
Alongside Gia, De Niro proudly embraces his other children: Drena, 56, Raphael, 47, twins Julian and Aaron, 28, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 12. Additionally, he cherishes his four grandchildren, among them Drena’s 19-year-old son, Leandro, who tragically passed away from an accidental overdose last year.
In an emotionally charged interview with AARP, the Oscar winner couldn’t contain his elation when discussing the newest addition to his family. “Everything that consumes or worries me just fades away when I look at her,” he shared with a radiant smile. “It’s simply wondrous.”
In a separate conversation with the Guardian, De Niro offered insight into his domestic life alongside his partner, Tiffany Chen, 45, and their baby, Gia. When questioned about his age, he candidly acknowledged taking a step back from “the heavy lifting,” assuming a supportive role for Chen. “I’m there to support my girlfriend. But she does the work,” he explained. “And we have assistance, which is invaluable.”
De Niro and Chen’s paths first crossed in 2021 while collaborating on the set of De Niro’s film “The Intern” in 2015. “During our work together, it was purely professional,” Chen reflected in an interview on “CBS Mornings.” However, their romantic connection blossomed in July 2023, when they reunited and discovered the depth of their compatibility.
