Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell Continue Their Loved-Up Holiday Trip to Aspen — See the Sweet Pics

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are keeping their holiday traditions alive and feeling the love in Aspen, Colorado.

The enduring couple, who have been together for 40 years, were seen enjoying their snowy getaway on Tuesday. They were spotted shopping for gifts, strolling together, and displaying affection in the charming ski resort town.

Hawn, 78, sported a metallic silver coat with fuzzy trim over a navy blue sweater, paired with black leggings and boots. Russell, 72, kept it casual in jeans and a red flannel shirt under a brown jacket, topped off with his iconic white cowboy hat.

The longtime couple, who have been together since 1983, have made Aspen a holiday tradition spanning decades. Last year, the Monarch: Legacy of Monsters star and Cactus Flower Oscar winner were seen completing last-minute Christmas shopping errands. In a previous year, they sported matching Western-style hats while doing so.

Accompanying them on the Aspen streets was Hawn’s son, Oliver, 47, from her previous marriage to Bill Hudson. Hawn and Russell have nurtured their blended family, including her daughter Kate Hudson and sons Boston Russell and Wyatt Russell, whom they welcomed together.

In a 2020 interview with PEOPLE, Russell remarked, “For people like us, the marriage certificate wasn’t going to create anything that otherwise we wouldn’t have. I don’t know. 40 years isn’t enough to finally say, ‘Well, I guess…’ ”

Hawn added, “It’s not about the marriage. It’s about the people and the relationship, and the will to stay together… That’s a big one because if you want it, you can have it. You’ve got to give things up, but the joy and the excitement of being together and touching the toes of somebody at night is really a nice feeling.”

Of the family’s affection for Aspen, Oliver described it as “a really special place” during an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan (now known as Live with Kelly and Mark) in 2022. Sharing insights into the home Hawn decorated, he humorously remarked, “It’s a bit of a time capsule. Those curtains that you see are like 30 years old, you know what I mean? Mom refuses to update, which kind of is great.”

Last year, Kate posted a video on Instagram from the family’s Aspen residence, welcoming 2023 and raising a toast to her followers with a bottle of champagne chilled outside in the snow.

Russell and Hawn have shared the screen on numerous occasions, from the Christmas Chronicles films to the 1968 live-action movie musical The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band. Their enduring relationship traces back to 1983 when they first collaborated on the film Swing Shift, marking the beginning of their decades-long partnership.
