Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens

Barbra Streisand, an esteemed presence in Hollywood, recently voiced staunch support online for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Streisand argued that Willis is facing unjust scrutiny from conservatives who are attempting to tarnish her professional standing by delving into her personal life.

In a post on X platform, the legendary singer and actress remarked that Willis is simply pursuing a private relationship with Nathan Wade, the prosecutor she appointed for the investigation involving Trump and 18 co-defendants charged with racketeering linked to Georgia’s 2020 election.

“On Monday, Streisand remarked, ‘How absurd that Republicans are calling for Fani Willis to be ousted. For what reason? Because she’s a woman who dares to have a personal life alongside her professional one? Men do it routinely! How preposterous is this?’

“Trump and his allies are targeting Fani Willis, the DA prosecuting him for attempting to subvert the will of Georgia voters. She maintains a private relationship with one of the prosecutors. This is entirely unrelated to the case’s merits and Trump’s audacious efforts to coerce the Secretary of State into ‘finding’ more votes for him and submitting false electors to Congress. It’s just another distraction tactic by Trump,” Streisand added.
