Billy Ray Cyrus recently exchanged vows with his partner, Firerose, in an intimate ceremony. The couple, who officially began dating in 2022, have now taken their relationship to the next level.

After 28 years of marriage, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus filed for divorce for the third time, announcing the news in April 2022. Following their separation, Billy Ray Cyrus embarked on a new relationship with Firerose, an Australian artist, and the couple revealed their engagement in November 2022.
Their connection dates back several years, as Firerose had auditioned for a role on Hannah Montana 13 years prior. Reflecting on their first encounter, Billy Ray fondly recalled a moment at the studio lot, stating, “There’s a couple old pine trees on the lot that look like Tennessee. Tex (his dog) and I would go out there in the middle of the day, and he’d take care of his business. And we’d stretch, and I’d think how much I missed Tennessee. On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don’t know, recognition. I was like, ‘This girl’s a star.’”
He continued, “She told me she’d had an audition, and I said, ‘Well, I’m sure you got the job.’”
Despite Firerose not landing the part, Cyrus facilitated introductions for her to a couple of producers.
“I just thought, well, the casting agents, the producers, the writers, they’re all on the floor of where we do Hannah Montana. And I actually said to her, ‘Don’t ever take a strange man up on this offer, but, in this case, Tex will testify that you will be totally safe,'” he recounted.
His wedding to Firerose follows just a couple of months after his ex-wife Tish also remarried. She tied the knot with “Prison Break” star Dominic Purcell in August of 2023.
Tish’s two children from her previous relationship—Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34—attended the wedding and appeared in photographs with Purcell and two of his four children for the media. Notably, Billy Ray had legally adopted Brandi and Trace while he was married to Tish. The former couple also shares three biological children: Miley Cyrus, Braison, and Noah.
However, Noah and Braison were conspicuously absent from their mother’s wedding. On the wedding day, the siblings were together and shared temporary Instagram stories about their outing to Walmart, with Noah wearing a shirt featuring Billy Ray.
