Isabella Strahan in tears as she gives unexpected update on cancer battle
Isabella Strahan surprised many with a recent social media post, sharing an uplifting update on her cancer journey. The 19-year-old daughter of ex-NFL player Michael Strahan expressed tears of joy, revealing that she’s now slated for just four rounds of chemotherapy instead of the initially scheduled six.
Last year, Isabella received the diagnosis of medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer, which she revealed during a Good Morning America interview in January 2024. Reflecting on her condition, she remarked, “I’m feeling good. Not too bad.”
The journey began in October 2023 while Isabella was in her first year at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Persistent headaches plagued her for a month until she couldn’t ignore them any longer. “I didn’t notice anything was off till probably like Oct. 1,” she shared in the GMA interview. “That’s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn’t walk straight.”
Initially attributing her symptoms to vertigo, her concern heightened when she woke one late October morning vomiting blood. “I was like, ‘Hm, this probably isn’t good.’ So I texted [my sister], who then notified the whole family.”
