Hazel Roberts, Julia Roberts’ 16-year-old daughter, makes her Red Carpet debut

Both Roberts and Moder endeavor to shield their children from the public eye, which explains the infrequency of their appearances at public events and the scarcity of images shared on social media.

However, Hazel made a notable appearance alongside her father at the Cannes Film Festival in France in July.

The duo attended to promote the film “Flag Day,” with Moder serving as the choreographer and Sean Penn as the director.

Although Penn’s children featured as characters in the film, Hazel did not participate. Nevertheless, she attended the ceremony to show her support for her father’s endeavors.

Hazel’s striking beauty captivated onlookers. While some suggest she inherited her mother’s nose, many see a strong resemblance to her handsome father, which undoubtedly contributes to her attractiveness. Hazel boasts blonde hair and captivating blue eyes.

Dressed in a soft yellow lace gown paired with black Mary Jane heels, Hazel exuded elegance. Her hair was elegantly styled in a ponytail, and her makeup accentuated her natural features, showcasing her sophistication.

Moder appeared visibly proud of his daughter, remaining by her side throughout the evening, a testament to their close bond.

Whether Hazel or her siblings harbor aspirations for careers in the film industry remains undisclosed, as their parents seldom discuss their children and prefer to shield them from the public eye—an understandable choice given Roberts’ down-to-earth nature.

Despite her considerable wealth, estimated at around $250 million, Roberts has never exhibited diva-like behavior and consistently maintains a modest demeanor.

In 2016, Hazel and her brothers had minor roles in Robert’s film “Mother’s Day.”

During a 2018 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Roberts reflected on her children, saying, “I don’t think they’ll ever understand (my fame). I think I told you once that when they started figuring it out, they were like, ‘You’re famous?’ And I said, ‘I think a lot of people might have seen the movie that I’m in or might know who I am.’”

She went on to address the challenges faced by today’s youth, remarking, “It’s different than when I might have said to my mom, ‘Mom, you don’t know what it’s like to be a teenager today,’ even though she probably did.”

“Danny and I have no clue what it’s like to be an adolescent today. When my children ask me questions, I simply tell them, ‘I’m going to say no and look into it because I have no idea what we’re talking about.’”
