Eric Braeden, renowned for his portrayal of Victor Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” recently shared a candid video detailing his battle with cancer. Following his cancer diagnosis, the 82-year-old actor bravely disclosed that he is undergoing immunotherapy treatments.

Amidst recovering from knee surgery and grappling with prostate issues, Braeden received the unexpected news of his cancer diagnosis during a routine checkup, which he candidly discussed in a Facebook Live session. He revealed the presence of “high-grade” cancer cells near his bladder.

Despite his health challenges, Braeden remains committed to his role on the serial drama. Expressing his dedication to acting, he remarked, “I’m happy to be able to go to work…” and affirmed his determination to overcome his condition. It won’t be long before I’m back to my best.
