Teen daughter disowns mother in favor of cheating dad – years later she comes back begging
The course of one woman’s life drastically changed when she wed a wealthy man whom she perceived as a boon to her family.
In her Reddit post, she detailed how this gentleman generously bestowed lavish gifts upon her parents, settled her sister’s credit card debts, and even secured a lucrative position for her brother at a renowned company.
Naturally, her in-laws held her husband in high regard for his generosity and support during difficult times, despite his infidelity.
The first instance of betrayal occurred shortly after the birth of their child, Kelly. Feeling vulnerable and considering leaving her husband, she sought advice from her family. Despite their supportive words, she struggled to decide and ultimately remained in the marriage, convincing herself that his infidelity stemmed from her inability to be the best wife during her pregnancy.
Years later, when Kelly was about 12, her husband cheated again. This time, she was resolute about divorcing him. However, her family and in-laws opposed the idea to prevent a scandal tarnishing the family’s reputation. Despite her reluctance, she filed for divorce, but the custody battle for Kelly became grueling, with her ex-husband’s legal team and her in-laws having the upper hand.

Over the years, she tried to rebuild her relationship with Kelly, offering financial support for her graduate school tuition under strict conditions, including forfeiting her position as her heir in her mother’s will.
